Lands End to John O'Groats - We Did It!
Quick Update Report
After months of preparation and training, 11 Team Axiom riders undertook what is one of the hardest physical challenges any of us has attempted! More impressive is that we all came through it smiling (well, there may have been a few grimaces, but we'll call them smiles!).Unfortunately the tracking system didn't work as we had hoped, but hopefully the tweets helped keep you up-to-date. From all of us, thanks for your messages of support - they really did help to keep us going when it was really hurting.
Although we have not got all of the money in yet, it appears that we have raised over £2,000 for Naomi House and the Parkinson's Society. But the fund raising doesn't have to stop now - you can still donate funds to Naomi House children's hospice by visiting the JustGiving web page.
The Riders
Team 1: Andy, Des, Graham, Helen, Jenny, Joy and Tel.
Team 2: Mike, Sarah, Tim and Tony.
As some may know Helen rode this ride in memory of former tennis instructor Andy Andrews - he would have been 95 this year - and to help raise funds for the Parkinson's Disease Society. The Portsmouth News has run an article on the obstacles she has had to overcome to get to Land's End.
The Support
Team 1: Mark, Paul, Rita, Shaun
Team 2: Jane, Tracy
Without you guys, none of the above would have been possible. So a very, very big thanks to you all for giving up your time to follow a load of nutters on bikes, who thought it would be kinda nice to cycle from one end of the country to the other!!
Photos
I'm sure that there will be many more to come, but here are the first lot of photos from the LeJoG!

Big congratulations to Helen who completed her self-set challenge of cycling 200 miles in a day just 3 months after being knocked off and suffering multiple fractures. Click on the image below to see a video of HTT's ride - well not all of it because that would take quite a while!! ;-)
